About the role:

1010data is seeking a Manager of Human Resources to complement our current Talent Management Team with direct reporting to the Chief People Officer. This is both a strategic and hands-on role in which you will partner with management to improve employee experience and engagement as well as maintain responsibility for the day-to-day operations of various aspects of HR. 

The ideal candidate has a background in managing, working as an HR Business Partner, experience with benefits, employee relations, and interfacing with senior leadership. They are passionate about Diversity & Inclusion, an inspirational leader, and a trustworthy teammate. They should be comfortable rolling up their sleeves, need strong business acumen, excellent communications skills, strategic thinking, and planning/project management skills. You must be able to balance competing priorities and conflicting opinions and facilitate the best decisions for employees and the business in an environment of transformation.

What you will take on:

  • Ability to provide support to all functions of Human Resources as a strategic business partner in a fast-paced and changing organization
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to implement people programs and strategies that enhance our culture, including, employee engagement and retention
  • Leverage people analytics to anticipate opportunities or issues and propose data-driven solutions that influence business outcomes
  • Applies principles of change management to understand, forecast and manage the people impacts of transformational change initiatives
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and develop employees
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, ensuring our policies are in line with state & federal laws
  • First point of contact for employees regarding all HR issues and advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues inclusive of documentation and record keeping
  • Overseeing all employee benefits
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

What you already have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years Human Resources Generalist experience, including experience managing people, preferably in tech environment
  • Broad experience in the following areas: employee relations (including disciplinary actions), employment law, benefits administration and management, Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion, performance management, and international exposure
  • Experience having conversations about compensation and performance
  • Proven decision-making using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment using strong judgment and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated a boldness in leadership and adaptability when delivering projects, motivating colleagues to perform to a high standard
  • Collaborator and a team-player - an inclusive mindset and ability to build great relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Intuitive sense of business acumen, strong problem-solving skills, and critical thinking
  • Effective Communication inclusive of verbal, written and strong presentation skills (ability to deliver a story through PowerPoint)
