Inside Sales Specialist – Shanghai, China

The main responsibility of the Inside Sales Specialist is to find, qualify and develop new sales opportunities. This requires close collaborations with internal teams to meet and exceed sales quota for a specific sales territory or/and a specific product line. The secondary responsibilities include assisting with sales funnel management, marketing communications, and CRM administrative tasks.

 

What you will be doing
• Work with internal and external sales teams to meet and exceed revenue goals
• Activities include qualifying in-bound marketing qualified leads, engaging with existing customers and leads, guiding customers to the products that best meet needs, coordinating with internal teams to address customer questions, providing pricing, assisting on tender process, etc. via phone, e-mail, virtual meeting, and other prospecting tools.
• Independently establish and execute strategies for obtaining new customers through sales metrics analysis and market research
• Partner with internal and external sales teams to ensure optimal adoption of CRM tools for accurate lead and customer tracking and sales forecasting
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance customer loyalty with sustainable revenue growth
• Work collaboratively with Marketing, Sales Execs, Science and Technology Advisor and Customer Service teams.
• Track and report on key initiatives and activities to managers.

 

To be successful in this role, you must have
• Must be proficient (spoken and written) in Mandarin and English
• B. S. in life science or Biotechnology required
• Proven successful sales experience with a technical product line, or/and familiarity with a variety of sales concepts, practices and procedures is an asset.
• NGS sales experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with CRM database (SFDC), Tableau, lead prospecting/ generation tools, and other productivity tools is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and master highly technical concepts and articulate them well to others
• Exceptional listening, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate well and think quick on your feet
• Outstanding relationship building and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to identify customer needs
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and work effectively in a team environment.
