About the role:

You will support the regional marketing team in executing the digital strategy to increase engagement and drive lead generation within the EMEA Region. This will include organizing webinars, hybrid and virtual events (using Marketo and zoom webinars), as well as liaising with colleagues internationally (primarily in Europe but also US) and will be based in the Leiden office.

What you will be doing:

  • Understand digital architecture of the company to report actionable insights using Marketo, Salesforce and Tableau for channel effectiveness
  • Develop registration pages, on demand pages and invitation/follow up emails in Marketo
  • Provide insights and analysis of lead funnel from Capture to Sales Qualified status 
  • Regularly update the Marketing and Sales teams on webinars, process improvements and progress of lead optimization efforts
  • Collaborate with marketing communications partners, web/marketing writers, and team members across the digital marketing environment
  • Act as an owner of established tools and process in the marketing team for reporting of activities

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 years demonstrated experience in digital marketing and sales lead nurturing
  • Strong MarTech background with working knowledge of creating campaigns, tokens, templates and smart lists in Marketo
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to integrate systems and track record of working with marketing analytics e.g. Tableau
  • Experience with CRM and data platforms e.g. Salesforce
  • Broad understanding of the sales funnel and how to positively impact funnel conversion rate
  • Flexible working outside normal business hours to align with US counterparts as required
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Willing to travel approx.10% depending on business needs
  • Fluent English

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Adobe Marketo Certified Expert
  • Salesforce certified or strong working knowledge of SFDC
  • Marketing-related degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of lead enrichment tools such as ZoomInfo or Ringlead
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft or Google productivity applications
  • HTML / CSS knowledge to enhance templates
