Meet the team:

The People team at Argo is looking for a Senior People Analyst to join our team! We are seeking someone who is not only passionate about data, reporting and analytics, but also someone who strives to use that information to provide strategic insight and value across our entire global organization. In this role you will be responsible for the management of People-related data, reporting, and analytics via our HRIS, Workday. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Intake current state and set the overall vision and strategy for the future state of people analytics at Argo, including developing and executing against the enhancement roadmap to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Cultivate trusting relationships with the People team and other cross-functional stakeholders (including Executive Leadership) that enable the successful delivery of accurate and insightful reports, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Lead the design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of custom Workday reports and dashboards; including but not limited to: headcount, diversity, attrition, performance, compensation, benefits, leaves, and other people-team metrics.
  • Act as the Workday reporting expert at Argo; demonstrating  at ease the ability to create custom reports from scratch and specialization in developing calculated fields, advanced reporting, composite reporting, trend reporting, etc.
  • Set the bar for analysis and measurement of people-related data at Argo and be the subject matter expert for detailed reporting and mentor others on producing strategy and vision from data sets. 
  • Provide strategic insights and long term recommendations for People team programs on the basis of expert analysis and critical review of related people data. 
  • Partner with People team leads to identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) to actively monitor and evaluate People programs via reporting to ensure success and alignment with strategic People team objectives.
  • Prepare necessary data for all People-related events and support additional ad-hoc, recurring, or special project assignments; including quarterly board decks, employee engagement surveys, annual EEO reporting, etc.
  • Perform regular data integrity audits to guarantee accuracy of all People-related reports, dashboards, and analytics, including ensuring the alignment with internal and external retention and compliance requirements.
  • Manage the Workday database architecture, including data structure, data sources, data fields, validation options, etc. and communicate cross-functionally to minimize down-stream disruptions based on any dependencies.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • 5+ years in Human Resources or People Operations
  • Highly experienced with Workday (HRIS); including developing custom fields and advanced, composite or custom reporting
  • Excellent with Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel; including advanced formulas and functions
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently manage and analyze complex sets of sensitive and confidential data
  • Ability to identify trends and develop insightful actionable recommendations for leadership based on data analysis
  • Ability to exercise judgment and discretion with highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Self-starter with strong sense of urgency and ability to work in fast-paced, complex and scaling environment
  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication, data visualization and presentation skills

  • ‘Workday Pro’ Certification
  • Experience with Greenhouse (ATS)
  • HRCI or HRIP Certification
