Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity, assuming candidates have eligible working rights and a sufficient timezone overlap with their team. As our offices re-open, Atlassians can choose to work remotely or return to an office, unless it’s necessary for the role to be performed in the office. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

Over the last 18 years Jira has grown to become an industry defining product for the world’s developers. Since then more than 100,000 organisations including a large swath of the fortune 500 have chosen Jira for it’s flexibility, customizability, extensibility and for helping them to make their work flow. This has scaled Jira’s usage both horizontally with more organisations adopting Jira and vertically with more users, issues, projects, workflows etc in a single Jira instance. As the industry and our customers shift from on-premises to cloud we will ensure they have a great performance experience in Jira Cloud regardless of their size. This makes the Jira Scale and Performance team critical to Jira and Atlassian.
