Atlassian is continuing to hire for all open roles with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. Everyone new to the team, along with our current staff, will temporarily work from home until it is safe to return to our offices.

Atlassian is looking for an experienced leader and people manager to lead a team of Business Systems Analysts. This team supports the revenue management/quote to cash capabilities for back office finance systems. As part of the IT Business Systems team, this role will establish strategic partnerships in support of key initiatives and cross-functional programs. In this role, you will be responsible to coach and manage team deliverables, set roadmaps and prioritization with partners, and execute against the committed roadmaps.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and own new system deployments and integrations and manage current operational systems which include NetSuite, Zuora (RevPro),etc. to support the QTC work stream. 
  • Identify resourcing needs and gaps to ensure successful delivery of committed projects. Adapt to evolving business needs and work with Leadership teams within and outside the organization to arrive at roadmaps and priorities.
  • Serve as point of contact for all vendor escalations and corresponding business reviews. 
  • Partner with Global Finance Accounting teams to understand their goals and objectives and align the Quote-to-Cash Finance Systems roadmap to support these goals/objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal IT and cross-functional stakeholders across the company to build the right systems and automations that effectively delivers the right business value for the organization.
  • Collaborate with Commerce, GTM and Architecture teams to ensure the objectives and goals for Finance Systems team are in alignment with the broader business needs and strategy.
  • Lead a team of business systems analysts to project manage company and departmental system initiatives. Define scope, budget, impact, and timelines of initiatives and own the final delivery and success of critical business systems in the QTC domain.
  • Attract, develop, and retain high performing business systems analysts through effective recruiting, training and development, coaching and performance management.
  • Operational ownership of the Finance and Business systems that correlate to the Quote to Cash process area to ensure projects, system upgrades, enhancements, etc. run accurately and in a timely manner. Ownership of such systems and support for compliance based system requests including, SOX documentation, testing and timely remediation of such controls.
  • On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • A deep understanding of key Quote to Cash and Record to Report business processes (A/R, Order Management, Customer Account Management, Revenue Management, Cash/Collections) and are capable of translating  complex processes into technical requirements.
  • 8+ years of hands on experience with leading SaaS ERP/ Finance systems in an agile environment.
  • 4+ years of people management experience, including leading Senior/Principal level Business Systems Analysts.
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to formulate innovative ideas, convert to actionable plans and take responsibility for the execution of such plans.
  • Comfortable interacting with highly technical team members to design, project manage and implement solutions.
  • Experience with end to end implementation of complex accounting and finance systems at a high growth company. 
  • A strong analytical discipline to the team and are constantly finding ways to optimize/automate the existing financial tools and integrations by taking a hands-on approach in dealing with configuration/system settings
  • Data-driven, pragmatic and bring a relaxed, enthusiastic attitude while dealing with ambiguity.
  • BS/MS in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering
