Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. Everyone new to the team, along with our current staff, will temporarily work from home until it is safe to return to our offices.

Organizations worldwide are transforming rapidly, motivated by an explosion of new technology. Now, more so than ever, technology has become the driver of business outcomes and competitive advantage. And at the heart of this are IT teams, tasked with the gargantuan challenge of leading this transformation - driving rapid delivery of value, at the same time ensuring the compliance, reliability, and security of technology in an increasingly complex world.

You’ll be joining Atlassian’s ITSM product team, an organization passionate about helping our customers in IT run in this new world, helping them deliver, operate and support IT services with an agile and collaborative approach.

Our team is comprised of fun, hardworking and highly-experienced individuals who all enjoy playing and working together as a team.

As a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the product strategy and working with other disciplines to make it a reality in product. This includes:

  • Helping to define the product vision
  • Capturing and prioritizing product and customer requirements
  • Planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle
  • Building the business case for new product add-ons and working closely with engineering, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer happiness goals are met
  • Define and track key business and usage analytics data to measure success for product areas you own

  • The Principal Product Manager will work across multiple streams of features to provide guidance and direction to assure the success of the product, including both features they are directly responsible for, as well as other feature areas led by other Product Managers within their product. You will also act as a player/coach among Product Managers in their team, helping and guiding efforts across the product while also owning specific feature sets and deliverables.

  • It's great, but not required, if you have...

  • Previous experience in IT departments and ITSM technologies.
  • Computer Science or a related technical degree is strongly preferred
  • MBA is a plus
