We're on the hunt for a seasoned Program Manager to drive and support the teams at Atlassian who power our e-commerce buying experience on our website,
www.atlassian.com. Our Buyer Experience team is growing, and we need a Program Manager to help shape and drive the major programs of work throughout the department and within the company, bringing order and focus while leaving room for flexibility and innovation.
You will support the team in developing clear roadmaps, prioritized backlogs, a systemized project/feature request process, company-wide transparency, and driving scrum of scrums, checkpoints to continually improve especially as we scale, and most importantly the ability to deliver on commitments and customer/business value while crafting an extraordinary ecommerce experience.
You will program manage, support and partner with Scrum Masters, other Program Managers within the organization, Product Managers, Engineers, QA and UX Designers that are collectively responsible to deliver programs for the Atlassian ecommerce experience.
In this role, you will:
Perform program management duties involving cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of internal products or administrative systems. Ensure all roadmaps that feed into your program combined into an integrated solutionNavigate changes that affect the program of work and ensure that the benefits of the program remain viableOversee plans and direct schedules. Monitor programs/projects from initiation through delivery interfacing with internal customers or department personnel. Organize project activities and meetings; ensure communication facilitates completion of the program/project on schedule. Utilize Agile experience to lead or partner with Agile teams to deliver on programs and projects
Program ManagerPartner with scrum teams to deliver our public web presence (UX, platform/infrastructure, marketing campaigns, and experiments).Evangelize project and program management best practicesPromote, define, refine and enforce lightweight processes that fit our Agile software development culture and valuesAssist teams in making realistic commitments on the program of workCollaboratively identify and synchronize project interdependencies across multiple teamsProvide leadership for high profile programs and projectsUse your experience to identify and safely detonate land mines before we step on themPartner with scrum masters to ensure that program needs are incorporated in sprint planning, project reviews, and retrospectives. Assist Product Owners in grooming product backlogs to prepare for sprint.Remove impediments to the Development Team’s progressHold Development Team accountable for managing sprint workloads.Partner with Product Managers to define and maintain KPI's and success measuresShare both our successes and learnings Maintain a regular review cadence for the program
Agile ExperienceEvangelize scrum, its roles, events, and artifacts to help the team (and those outside of the team) understand what they are and why to use them.Identify impediments the team experiences and advise on ways to address them.Define metrics for tracking progress, and determining success and completion.

You are an experienced Agile Program Manager who has supported web development teams, ideally for public-facing e-commerce sites. Your expertise and enthusiasm for agile methodologies and continuous improvement energizes those around you. You believe that openness and clarity are non-negotiable. You have the ability to communicate information clearly to a variety of audiences to help drive consensus. Finally, you are passionate and eager to be the servant-leader for the teams who are responsible for bringing a world-class buyer experience to our website visitors.
