Atlassian is continuing to hire for all open roles with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. Everyone new to the team, along with our current staff, will temporarily work from home until it is safe to return to our offices.

We have a unique opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Atlassian Workplace Experience TEAM. Reporting to our Regional APAC Real Estate & Development Lead, you will be responsible for leading real estate and tenant improvement works across our rapidly growing portfolio. This is great chance to create impact at a huge scale.

You will own all aspects of these projects including feasibility, design management, supply chain procurement, construction delivery, negotiations, scheduling, communication, budget setting and cash flow management.

Working in a high paced environment won't phase you. You'll possess serious organisational skills as you navigate our globally dispersed company.

What you'll be doing:

  • Actively and passionately collaborate with internal and external stakeholders that we partner with across a wide range of subject areas to support our real estate needs
  • Have total ownership of all projects under your responsibility – quality, design, schedule and budget
  • Drive the management of all projects with your project management skills, achieving outstanding results through collaborative behaviours consistent with Atlassian Values
  • Drive sustainability objectives in our projects, participate in Workplace Experience team broader workstreams and initiatives as they arise from time to time
  • Develop superior team work with Work Experience Team members in the APAC regions
  • Develop skills and tools that improve and bring higher value to the Work Experience team
  • On your first day you'll need:

  • BA/Undergraduate degree in a related field
  • Extensive experience in the property or construction industry with at least 10 years on the client or end-user side
  • Experience leading a distributed team
  • Proven experience with fitout and new build projects – ideally in Sydney as well as APAC regions such as Philippines, Japan and India
  • Substantial experience in development and real estate transactions
  • An understanding of workplace design, supply chain procurement, sustainability and commercial negotiations

  • As an employee of a global business, you may need to travel locally and abroad 10-15% of your time [dependent on the location of future projects and partners].
