Do you live and breathe user experience, love solving problems and thrive on variety? If so, we have a great opportunity for you! We are looking for a Senior Designer in Bangalore to work across Jira Service Desk - a fun, hardworking and highly-experienced team who all enjoy playing and working together as a team to define the future of IT.

Jira Service Desk (JSD) is a recent Service Management solution from Atlassian. Built on top of Jira, JSD gives customers a single platform to track service requests, and collaborate behind the scenes to deliver the best service. With incident management, self-service, SLAs and much more, JSD provides users with everything they need to setup a robust and intuitive IT service desk. It is also the fastest growing product in Atlassian!
Your work will directly impact tens of thousands of customers, and millions of users!

We're searching for an experienced Product Designer/UX Designer to help lead the vision and design direction across IT Services practices, including Service Request management and Knowledge management.

As one of our Senior Designers on Jira Service Desk, you will:
- Work in an experienced, tight-knit team alongside a product manager and engineers to optimise the experience for how IT teams fulfil customer requests.
- Work directly with your cross-functional team to have creative autonomy & impact across the product.
- Have the opportunity to work across the entire end-to-end design process, from very early stage research and ideation, to iteration and implementation, harnessing your abilities to craft key experiences using the Atlassian design system.
- On your first day, we would love for you to have:
- A passion for design thinking methods and facilitation
- An end-to-end design process that stretches from discovery to execution
- The ability to design across fidelities - from paper to the final pixel
- Awesome communication and influencing skills. You're comfortable working closely with developers and product managers, and know how to work in a team environment to deliver on customer and business value.
- Foundational research knowledge. You understand how to define what user research needs to be done (and you're willing to get scrappy enough to execute on some yourself). You have confident understanding around implementing research findings.
