Atlassian is continuing to hire for all open roles with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. Everyone new to the team, along with our current staff, will temporarily work from home until it is safe to return to our offices.

Atlassian is searching for a Senior Manager to join People Technology in IT. More About Our Role:

  • The position works with the Head of IT, People Technology and will be based out of our San Francisco office
  • A trusted partner to Atlassian’s People Business function to enable delightful employee experience and excellent business results
  • Utilize your experience to ensure that our systems and strategies use industry standard methodologies at scale to support Atlassian's unique go to market business model.
  • Inspire your teams to build better products with a constant dedication to understand, and improve the experiences for our employees and business users
  • Build technically robust services that scale with the growing needs of Atlassian business groups
  • Partner with global peer delivery teams and be responsible for the delivery of key IT programs and services.
  • Skills:

  • A history of collaborating multi-functionally
  • Love people development, with significant experience leading and growing future leaders
  • Experience partnering with cross functional teams to deliver services that drive superior business outcomes
  • Demonstrate direct knowledge and understanding of Absence, -Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Performance, Talent Management, Total Rewards & Talent Analytics business processes and systems
  • Experience with Workday and Lever platforms
  • Experience with data platforms to support talent analytics
  • Experience in driving operational perfection for systems supporting People processes
  • Demonstrable ability to hire and scale a team of multi-functional IT professionals.
  • Required Experience:

  • You have more than 8 years of experience with medium or large-scale enterprise software companies.
  • You have the ability to lead across a globally distributed and matrix organization and team.
  • Have a proven track record to form teams, hire technical and non-technical staff at scale, ideally within a global software, B2B, or cloud services company
  • Experience in designing and delivering end to end HR Transformations
  • 4 years' Workday HCM/EIB/Studio experience
  • Understanding of machine learning, artificial intelligence, natural language processing technologies is a plus
  • Passion for and experience in building employee experience focused people systems and services
  • Analytical ability to determine how to optimize systems and data to support business processes
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate
  • Must be able to handle highly sensitive data with the greatest degree of confidentiality
  • Experience in handling Compliance and Audit needs
  • Work well under tight deadlines and pressure
