Come join Atlassian as an IT Solution Architect [Front Office Systems] to transform the direct cloud commerce experience for millions of teams from small companies to large enterprises. We are seeking an experienced, strategic and innovative Solution architect to lead and support architecture and Product Management activities across teams for our Front office systems as part of our Commerce Initiative. 

To succeed, you'll need real-world experience building high-performance, large-scale solutions in a high growth environment. Being passionate about the customer experience, having the ability to ask the tough questions, and being a natural at working across functional areas are traits that will serve you well along with an ability to communicate ideas with developers, stakeholders and marketers in both written and spoken form.

You will work with a talented team of Product Managers, Designers, and Developers to continually iterate and improve the reach of our products for enterprises. You will be empowered to drive innovation by coming up with new and exciting ideas to creatively solve issues, as well as proactively look for opportunities to improve the design, interface, and architecture of Atlassian's products on the cloud.

This individual is responsible for facilitating the construction of commerce architecture models [front office centric], which may include business capabilities, processes, and technology. The role focuses on leading/leveraging the cloud commerce platform architecture future state. Leading the solution strategy, driving and influencing across all partners in the Quote-to-Cash Process (Sales, Marketing, and Commerce).
 

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • You have more than 12 years of IT experience with medium or large scale enterprise software companies. 
  • Specialization of Solution Architect + Product Management 
  • You have the ability to contribute as a functional leader across a globally distributed and matrix organization and team. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of different types of business and operating models (existing, new, emerging and hybrid)
  • In-depth experience with eCommerce / Digital Commerce technology and architecture
  • Knowledge in all aspects of crafting and constructing Quote to Cash solutions architecture
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to build original concepts and theories for a variety of projects
  • Proven track record to work with the high performing teams, ideally within a global software, B2B, or cloud services company 
  • Demonstrate direct knowledge and understanding of Sales / Commerce / Quote / Order Process / etc 
  • A degree in computer science or related field OR equivalent relevant work experience.
  • As trusted partner to Atlassian's Sales / Marketing / Care / Commerce Business functions you utilize your experience to ensure that our systems and strategies use industry standard methodologies at scale to support Atlassian's unique go to market business model. Partner with global peer delivery teams and lead the delivery of key IT programs and services for Commerce Initiative. Inspire the teams to build technically robust services that scale with the growing needs of Atlassian business groups, and improve the experiences for our customers and business users.
