Atlassian is continuing to hire for all open roles with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. Everyone new to the team, along with our current staff, will temporarily work from home until it is safe to return to our offices.


Atlassian is growing, and we are in need of an associate to join our People Team. Your focus will be on the compensation and benefits side, which are crafted to reward every Team Member.

As a valued member of the team, you will be the go-to person in all things total rewards, educating our local and global recruiters with the accurate benchmarks for the roles they are working on, and guiding our Team Members from all over the globe on their queries related to compensation and benefits. We need your passion and expertise to build a world-class organization and work environment through providing support in driving rewards programs and coordinating with the People Team to deliver key projects and company wide initiatives. In this role:

  • You will provide support for inquiries concerning compensation and benefits from various Atlassians globally, and coordinate with vendors and account managers as needed following queries received via the service desk
  • You will look after global benefits administration, which includes reporting leave of absence and injury and providing and monitoring new hire benefits compliance forms
  • You are going to ensure that our internal documentation and policies are updated and assist in regular reporting and audits
  • You will review monthly benefit billings and coordinate payment with the finance team
  • You will assist in HRIS data management for compensation, ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed, and continuous process improvement initiatives
  • On you your first day, we will expect that:

  • You have at least 4 years of Total Rewards experience focusing on benefits and compensation within a shared services company
  • You possess advanced MS Excel and Word skill
  • You have a strong attention to detail and ability to handle highly confidential information
  • You are an efficient and effective communicator able to get the message across various platforms
  • You are have the customer's welfare in mind, and a self-starter with good time management and prioritization skills
