Job summary

Atlassian University engages its customers and partners through Training Technology. We’re excited to take our Training offerings to the next level by expanding our training content, delivery, and technology. Success will be determined by an unparalleled customer journey from awareness, through engagement, and ultimately building customer champions. We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Program Manager to manage our training content development process. This includes working closely with internal instructional design and creative stakeholders and communicating clear project and content briefs to our external content development partners. Responsibilities will include prioritizing project tasks, reviewing delivered work, documenting and delivering feedback for iterative production, and overall timeline and budget performance of projects. You’ll also work closely with our product management and University leadership broadly to ensure we are providing excellent value to our customers.

More about the Role

Program Managers are the glue that brings cross-functional teams together. In this role, you will be working to drive outcomes for our customers that bring together a delightful and engaging customer experience with real-world knowledge acquisition. Work will be done both within the Atlassian University team as well as with content creation vendors. The Program Manager role is there to keep everyone on the same page, on time, and on budget. Reviewing priorities and quality of deliverables as well as coordinating all of the touchpoints needed to bring learning content to our customers will be core to the mission day to day.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the organizing driver on projects with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Supporting new and innovative approaches to content development
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business including Instructional design, Product teams, and Go to Market.
  • Prioritizing work and resources across projects based on short and long-term timelines
  • Effectively manage and communicate progress against deliverables, timelines, and budgets both internally and externally
  • Minimum qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience working with or at a creative agency, or in a project management function at an innovation company
  • Experience working on multiple projects in parallel
  • BS or another advanced degree in business, technology, design or a related field
  • Past ownership of project P+L
  • Strong experience with project scoping and estimating
  • Strong working knowledge of scrum or other Agile Methodologies
  • An ability to work iteratively, collaboratively and often in ambiguity

  • Experience in a company that makes digital learning products
  • Exposure to and knowledge about the craft of product design
  • Knack for leading cross-functional personalities, inspiring them to produce groundbreaking work in a structured way

  • An ability to promote and inspire a culture of creativity and digital innovation with a finger on the pulse of what’s new and possible
