Job description

Atlassian is scaling so we are hiring a Manager who will lead our Workplace Experience team in Manila. We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative individual who will be a part of the global WE team. We want a leader with positive energy, solutions-focused, and enjoys working with cross-functional teams.

The Manila WE Manager is the local "face" of our team. In this dynamic role, you will lead the Manila team and build great relationships with local and global Atlassians. Do you like to roll up your sleeves to support exciting, dynamic and impactful business projects and their teams, while executing on deliverables with precision? Then this is the role for you!

In this role:

  • You will be collaborating with partners, facilitate including local focus group discussions, staff engagement, and new hire orientation
  • You will use various communication channels to clearly and effectively pass on important updates to and from internal and external partners and fellow team members
  • You are going to implement global initiatives at a local scale. These will entail experimentation and incident management
  • You will manage onsite OPEX budgets and facilities, and work closely with on-site facilities management partner, and janitorial and security vendors
  • You will foster the Atlassian culture by observing the way both Atlassian staff and Atlassian processes work so you can anticipate future needs and propose improvements
  • On your first day, we will expect that:

  • You have at least 10 years of experience in a similar role at an agile global organization, with focus on implementing initiatives at scale
  • You are highly driven to deliver an environment that aligns with the Atlassians values and its high-performing culture, and a resilient attitude and a proven ability to manage and implement change
  • You have the ability to quickly understand the evolving culture, anticipate change and translate this into the Workplace Experience offerings, and are comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast paced environment
  • You are an excellent communicator who can get the right message across various platforms and draw out feedback and necessary actions
  • You are a veteran in terms of partnering with senior partners to understand business needs and turn into local action
