About the Position:
Babylon is hiring for individuals to join our Member Engagement team to connect with our Medicaid patients who are based around the state of Mississippi. This is an outgoing call position where your main focus will be calling patients and increasing awareness and engagement of our service and supporting them by connecting them with Babylon healthcare services and providers.

This position will join two other Outreach team members who are the ambassadors of Babylon's Value Based Care service.

Location: Remote, with occasional travel to community events throughout the state.

Start date: February/March

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

  • You'll have the opportunity to connect with underserved and overlooked patients remotely via phone and educate them on Babylon's services – helping provide accessible healthcare to them.
  • Conduct telephone outreach to members to introduce Babylon, and help members through registration process. This role involves contacting up 70 members per day and helping them schedule an appointment with a provider.
  • Connect meaningfully with customers to build emotional engagement and customer advocacy
  • Works closely with the clinical team to support patient engagement and confirm the patient has connected with resources   
  • Identify any gaps in use of services through discussion with patients
  • Participate in community outreach events and “ground game” activities
  • Take ownership of any issues that come your way in order to provide our members a support experience that goes beyond their expectations
  • WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in some of the following areas: healthcare, call centre, administration, outbound calls, consultative sales, marketing or communications.
  • Familiar with administrative softwares i.e. Google Workspace/G-Suite
  • This role will be very social but will also involve connecting with individuals who have many different needs and socioeconomic backgrounds. Empathy and understanding are key skills required for this position, and the ability to connect, engage, and educate patients about our service.
