About the Position:
Babylon is recruiting for a Provider Relations Lead to join our New York population health team and help us build relationships within the healthcare provider community.

“This role will involve a mix of remote and field networking to help build resources and referral partners for our digital health service.

Location: Remote-based with regular travel throughout the state as required.

Start date: January 2022

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

  • This person will represent Babylon and help foster relationships with healthcare systems around the state of New York. As a digital-first service, we're looking to develop partnerships and community relationships with healthcare systems throughout the state of New York.
  • This role will be focused on networking with hospital systems and will involve leveraging a background in healthcare and relationship building. The position will be based from home but will require regular travel to meet with representatives of other healthcare systems and providers.
  • This position will involve some cold-calling into healthcare systems such as provider offices and hospitals.
  • You'll have the opportunity to organize and lead community events throughout New York and act as the liaison between community healthcare providers and Babylon's population health team.
  • This person will be involved in designing, supervising, and participating in marketing projects/efforts to increase patient physician membership in individual physician and IPA network.
  • You'll partner closely with our Practice Operations Lead in New York to identify the needs of our patients and providers and work on strategic partnerships with community health systems.
  • WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • While we're more interested in impact than years of experience, this role is a Lead position and will require a certain large of independent work related to relationship building and self-managing a funnel of opportunities. As such, we're targeting at least 3 years of professional experience in a relationship/community-focused role.
  • Previous working knowledge and experience in healthcare is important to us.
  • Experience leveraging CRM software or the ability to demonstrate appropriate documentation/tracking experience as it relates to outreach activities and relationship building.
