Are you a compassionate Caregiver or Direct Support Worker seeking rewarding work?  We are currently hiring Caregivers and Direct Support Workers on the Big Island to work with individuals with developmental disabilities.  We have many clients who need assistance in the community as well as activities of daily living.  We are seeking experienced aids to assist our clients. Bayada caregivers and Direct Support Workers work with clients in their goals which include assisting with ADL's such as assistance in hygiene, chores and meal prep, planning activities, community integration, health and fitness goals, and more. 

We have current CNA and caregiver openings in the following locations:

  • HILO
  • KEAAU
  • PAHOA

Qualifications for Habilitation Technicians and CNA's:

  • Minimum one year work/personal experience
  • Current 2 step TB clearance
  • CPR/First Aid certificate
  • Ability to pass criminal background check

 

Job Responsibilities of a Habilitation Technicians:

  • Passion for providing mental/behavioral health care to individuals with ID/DD
  • Ability to work independently in a client’s home and community
  • Proficient and comfortable using mobile device to collect data
  • Competent and knowledgeable in teaching life skills
  • Provide reliable and consistent care
