Electronic Intake Associate Opportunity

 

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an Electronic Intake Associate to join our Customer Care Center located in Parsippany, New Jersey. In this role, you will receive and process new client referrals being called in by facility discharge planners, social workers, medical professionals, and insurance case managers for BAYADA service offices nationwide. Use your top notch customer service and telephone skills to help ensure that referrals are handled in a timely and caring manner, so that our clients can receive the best possible care.

Hours:  

 

Training hours are routinely Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, until the new Associate is ready to transition to the permanent schedule. This may be four ten hour days,  to include one weekend day OR five eight hour days, to include one weekend day.  The weekend days may be worked remotely, from home.

 

Responsibilities

 

As an Electronic Intake Associate, you will facilitate the coordination of referrals and communications for BAYADA Service offices. Duties will include the following:

 

  • Receive, document & process incoming referrals
  • Ensure all referrals are thorough, accurate and complete
  • Follow up with our internal service offices to ensure timely responses to referral sources
  • Function as facilitator between Case Managers, Client Services Managers, Clinical Nurse Managers and Field Nurses
  • Communicate payer information to our internal Insurance Verification team 
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times

 

The ability to cultivate positive and long-term relationships with referral sources is integral to success in the  position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Prior healthcare or intake experience a plus
  • Strong computer skills; comfort learning new technologies
  • Excellent communication/telephone skills
  • Professional and eager to grow within BAYADA
  • Ability to work above mentioned schedule

Starting salary:  37.5K
