Bayada is looking for a Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), to work with one of our amazing families in NYC. As an LPN you will use your clinical skills to ensure that our client receives the care they need and deserve in the comfort and safety of their home.
Bayada has a pediatric client located on the upper west side of Manhattan, just off of Central Park, that is looking for a nurse. The family is committed to providing the best care for their child which includes: onsite parking and having additional care givers present during shifts. The client is an adorable 14-year old girl who has a variety of medical conditions requiring 24/7 nursing care. She lives with her parents on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, with easy access to express and local train lines. In addition to her parents, who are frequently at home during most shifts, nurses will have the support of regular caregivers, who assist the client with home therapies and remote learning. The client loves trips to Central Park, less than two blocks away, having books read to her, listening to music, holding hands. While Julianna is unable to speak, most nurses become able to read her physical cues and facial expressions that serve to communicate her needs. The clients family do their best to make the home environment comfortable and welcoming for her nurses, frequently sharing fresh coffee, baked goods (often homemade) and good humor.

Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatment and therapy
- Communication with other members of the client’s multi-disciplinary team
- Emergency management
Qualifications for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
- Current LPN license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Pediatrics experience is a plus, but not required (industry-leading training available through BAYADA)
