The senior associate is responsible for overseeing the fiscal health of the strategic partnerships managed by BAYADA Strategic Ventures. This person will perform financial and operational planning and analysis, evaluation, and report generation activities of current and proposed operations, and effectively plan for and audit the financial needs of, BAYADA’s strategic partnerships and BAYADA Strategic Ventures support division.

 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Acts as a trusted advisor and expert on financial matters, including but not limited to accounting, treasury, financial reporting, allocations, billing & collections, and payroll.
  • Develops awareness of and fluency with issues and events affecting organization, department, and/or customers.
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual result reports and presentations for partnership boards and BAYADA senior leadership.
  • Oversees preparation of annual operating and financial plans for partnerships under management
  • Aids with planning, due diligence, and financial modeling for new business ventures.
  • Supports annual audits and compliance reviews, as needed.
  • Supplies accurate and appropriate interpretation of data.
  • Develops strategies, applications, methodologies, and files for analyzing data and presenting information.
  • Researches and evaluates new data sources and analytical tools. Contributes to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentation.
  • Ensures prompt, high-quality resolution of customer problems, questions, concerns, and issues.
  • Process Accounts Payable invoices for the Strategic Ventures support teams.

 

 

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Exemplifies characteristics of The BAYADA Way: compassion, excellence and reliability.
  • Four (4) year college degree (statistics, economics, business, engineering, computer sciences degree preferred).
  • MBA (or progress towards) preferred.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years successful experience in a financial and operational analyst role.
  • Demonstrated record of strong project management abilities (scheduling, budgeting, communication, scoping, execution, and stakeholder management).
  • Demonstrated record of strong interpersonal skills.
  • Solid record of goal achievement and exceeding performance standards.
  • Demonstrates well-developed ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner to groups of employees, managers, directors, and other customers.
  • Ability to motivate and be self-motivated, flexible, versatile, and creative. Possesses problem solving ability, leadership skills, and is able to foster interpersonal relationships.
  • Embraces the company’s entrepreneurial spirit through recognition and capitalization of opportunities and a healthy challenge of the status quo.
  • Exceptional computer skills, including all Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Acceptable results on all competency assessments
  • Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
