Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise delivery of all volunteer services
- Partner with all office staff in coordinating and supervising administrative volunteer services
- Assess and monitor a record-keeping system which includes services delivered and actual time involved
- Recruit, interview and select volunteers
- Design and supervise the orientation and training of volunteers
- Facilitate and support volunteer retention activities
- Monitor and evaluate volunteers’ performance
- Assure volunteers’ compliance with BAYADA’s policies and procedures
- Ensure regulatory compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation (COPs)
- Stay current with federal and state volunteer rules and regulations
- Plan and coordinate volunteer support meetings
- Together with entire office staff, answer phones, greet visitors and generate correspondence as necessary for
office needs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- Provide excellent customer service and quality hospice care with focus on coordination and delivery of volunteer services
- Demonstrated record of strong interpersonal skills, goal achievement, successfully taking on more responsibility with positive results and ambition to grow
- Prior health care or home care experience is a plus
