Attracting, engaging and acquiring top talent is at the heart of Beat’s growth plans. Building this strategic capability and organization muscle is a business imperative as we head into 2020 and beyond. Our Talent Attraction & Acquisition team is responsible for bringing market intelligence to inform business strategies and constantly raising the hiring bar while acting as gatekeepers of our culture.

In support of our hiring teams, Talent Acquisition delivers diverse, top talent on demand and orchestrates a highly targeted, tech-enabled assessment and selection process creating unforgettable, high value 5-star experiences.

As the Global Head of Talent Attraction & Acquisition, you will report to the Chief People Officer as a key player on the People Leadership Team and partner with leadership to build strategies, programs and processes that support hiring at Beat across all Technology, Operations and Corporate functions. The company is growing and evolving at an incredible pace and to anticipate future needs, creativity, flexibility, a strong sense of ownership and a growth mindset are requirements for success. The Head of Talent Acquisition will focus on scaling and strengthening our talent acquisition model and programs, developing and expanding our employer brand, and scaling our recruiting team to deliver on global hiring needs across all functions and levels in the organization.

We're immensely careful about building structured interview processes, we use metrics to constantly refine and iterate our processes, and we use the best tools we can find for engaging, assessing and selecting candidates.

What you’ll do:

  • Global strategy to support hiring excellence at scale: Define and drive the global Talent Attraction & Acquisition strategy to achieve the company’s hyper-growth plans. Cultivating deeply valued partnerships with Business and People Team Leadership, this leader will be expected to provide in-depth market insight to inform business strategy decisions and deliver Global Talent Acquisition plans. Develop a Talent Attraction and Acquisition structure that scales the business, anticipating growth demands and future capability requirements to deliver diverse, top talent on-demand.
  • Workforce planning: In partnership with the Finance and People Consulting teams, enhance and drive workforce planning across all locations, including corporate, technology, and operations in Europe and LATAM to bring talent in by methodically forecasting the organization’s needs.
  • Building excellence in assessment & selection: Continuously challenge the way and improve the end to end hiring process to ensure the company is consistently assessing the most predictive attributes to success in role at Beat. Leverage high tech and high touch approaches for effective and efficient selection. Create and execute scaleable, high impact training and development programs to improve our organizational “assessment” muscle across global hiring teams.
  • Build, inspire and lead a top performing team: Build, develop, inspire and lead a top performing, highly engaged team delivering high value services. Activate an inclusive and growth mindset in the team to tap into a diverse range of ideas and solutions. Coach, mentor and support the team to achieve their personal career best.

  • Talent attraction: Partner with Corporate and Employer Brand teams to develop and execute talent attraction strategies, including creation of Beat’s Employer Value Proposition, which amplify the company's visibility and reputation in key recruiting markets as a Top Talent Destination and Employer of Choice.
  • Data informed decision making: Create a culture in Talent Acquisition of leveraging data to inform decisions and innovation.
    Leverage data from a range of internal and external sources to provide deep analytical insight to drive informed decision making and clear strategic outcomes while contributing to the overall recruiting talent strategy. Build meaningful, accurate and powerful data dashboards for real-time reporting of hiring metrics targeted to unique hiring stakeholders including recruiters, hiring managers and senior leadership. Ground recruiting performance in data and metrics aligned to top line company goals.

What you will need:

Qualified candidates will have 10+ years of experience in a variety of cross functional People / Human Resources / Talent Acquisition positions of increasing scope and responsibility, with at least 5 years leading teams. Ideally, you bring experience in non-Human Resource functions in the business or corporate areas. Experience influencing at the executive level in fast paced, international companies. The ideal candidate will have had experience facing off to the Executive level leadership influencing hiring excellence and offering date informed, creative solutions across a variety of talent needs. S/he will also bring:

Expertise scaling the talent acquisition capability: Demonstrated success in building and leading the scale-out of a multi-national Talent Acquisition capability across multiple functions at all levels of the organization.

  • Success in attracting, hiring and developing the brightest minds from all backgrounds, while cultivating the power of a diverse, top performing organizations
  • Possess a passion for excellence with the ability to inspire others to the highest standards through leading by example

  • Strong leadership experience implementing large-scale organizational initiatives, from inception through completion, which cut across multiple business units, geographies, teams and HR partners.
  • Demonstrates a primary, intense concern around leading and motivating others. Must be able to inspire and energize others to support the vision of Beat.
  • Solicits the involvement of the team in building a sense of ownership. Must have the confidence to act quickly and decisively when it requires such agility.
