Our Opportunity:

Chewy, the fastest growing e-commerce business in the market today, is seeking passionate Undergraduate Accounting Interns to join our teams in Dania Beach, FL as we continue to grow, scale and enter new markets. Our 10-12 week internship is a hands-on opportunity to put your classroom knowledge, passion for accounting and intellectual drive to work in an environment that is fast paced and welcoming of your input. The internship also provides exposure to a fast-growing environment, professional development initiatives and mentorship. Experience summer in South Florida through networking and social events with your intern cohort and team members!  

 What you'll do:

• The summer internship provides students with challenging projects to gain in-depth knowledge of the accounting field through immersive, on-the-job experience. Interns work in one of our key functions, including:  
• Audit 
• General/Core Accounting 
• Financial Reporting
• Tax

What you'll need:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with intent of pursing CPA certification or Master’s in Accounting field, with intent to return to school after the internship concludes Candidates should be pursuing CPA certification.
• Proven leadership experience, through academics, athletics or extracurricular activities
• Minimum cumulative GPA above a 3.0 in academically rigorous curriculum
• Strong, clear and concise oral and written communication skills
• A penchant for critical thinking and natural curiosity for problem solving
• Demonstrated quantitative analytical capabilities
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the 10-12 week internship 
• Currently authorized to work permanently in the US without sponsorship
