By joining our Fulfillment Center Human Resources Team, you will have an immediate impact on the business by participating in on-going engagement initiatives and driving your own human resources projects.
What you'll do:
- Conduct new employee on-site orientations to ensure team members gain an understanding of benefit plans, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor “call-off line” and process other time off requests to ensure accuracy of absenteeism tracking.
- Process punch and payroll adjustments to ensure accuracy of timesheets. Process changes within deadlines.
- Maintain employee files, initiate drug and background screenings, and conduct routine file audits.
- Write, revise, edit and proofread company policies & procedures and related documents as needed. Use electronic benefits bulletin board and other vehicles to communicate information.
- Perform other HR generalist duties as assigned.
What you'll need:
- Currently enrolled at an accredited university with superior academic performance in a Bachelor’s degree program, major in Human Resources is preferred. A previous HR Internship or work experience is highly preferred.
- Must be proficient in MS Office products, particularly Excel.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills. Good punctuation, spelling, grammar and attention to detail are a must.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, role will support Operations team shifts - which may include days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
- This position may require travel.
