Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for an Associate Art Director to join our in-house studio photo art direction team and work side-by-side with passionate pet lovers. The ideal candidate would be responsible for supporting to create visual concepts in response to clients’ briefs and relaying them to the art director. This work involves all media platforms, including: digital communications, e-commerce, mobile apps and emails, marketing materials, press and print advertising, and logos and branding.  You will work side-by-side with our Florida and Dallas creative photography team to collaborate on all campaigns and marketing channels to deliver the highest quality on brand content for Chewy.

What You'll Do:

  • Support and assist the Art Directors and Creative Director by organizing direction from the marketing brief into a creative production deck
  • Responsible for managing and ensuring all decks are up to date and ready for kick-off and production
  • Utilize creative knowledge to troubleshoot request and share with Art Director and operations
  • Ability to stay organized and manage bandwidth in order to execute multiple decks on time at a quick pace
  • Have a keen creative eye to be able to maintain consistency and organization
  • Working closely with Art Directors to help support the creative projects, i.e. pulling swatches, references and creative inspiration
  • Collaborate with studio team while also working independently
  • Have a proactive, positive and problem solving attitude
  • Share and communicate any insight that could help support creative intake and workflow
  • Be a team player with a drive to learn and grow

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum 2+ years of brand experience in a media/agency environment.
  • Must be process driven and able to pivot based on project requirements and changes in scope
  • An understanding of quality, a creative thinker who sees value in high level production and execution of projects
  • Strong understanding of the creative photography and video process
  • Ability to adhere to our Chewy style guide standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Has experience in creative and diverse photo studio teams
  • Have a strong proficiency in PowerPoint and knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite
  • A strong creative presentation skillset
