Our Opportunity:

Chewy seeks a motivated, independent, and confident Associate Director, Finance, Supply Chain to provide financial leadership to Chewy’s Supply Chain Organization.  In this high visibility role, you will have an opportunity to support all aspects of Chewy’s Supply Chain including Inventory Management, Fulfillment, and Warehousing.  Your primary business partners are located at Chewy’s Headquarters and requires you to be located at Dania Beach, FL.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and Develop a team of 1-2 financial analysts.
  • Deliver business insight, reporting and analysis to the VP Supply Chain and their leadership team as well as Senior Leadership including Chief Supply Chain Officer
  • Actively participate in the ongoing management of the business and influence decision making through strong relationships built with your cross-functional business partners.
  • Pursue continuous improvement in all areas of the business with an emphasis on increasing inventory turns while simultaneously improving in-stock rates.
  • Actively participate in the strategic planning, target setting, and annual planning processes, and perform risk and opportunities analyses to support resource allocations.
  • Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate and timely
  • Partner with peers within Merchandising and Operations to support network initiatives that may require you to visit or partner with leadership teams at other locations.
  • Review Supply Chain’s monthly close process ensuring books and records are accurately maintained in accordance with Chewy’s policies and procedures
  • Support Capital Planning within the Organization including financial analysis, cost/benefit tracking, and business case development

What You’ll Need:

  • Proven People Leader with Experience managing direct reports
  • BA/BS in Finance, Business, or Information Systems degree required; MBA/CPA a plus
  • Supply Chain, Logistics, Fulfillment, distribution center, or operations experience
  • 10+ years related experience (Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, & Operations) and a strong grasp of finance
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills, and experience in supporting business case development, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills; required proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to think creatively, work independently and as part of a team to solve problems given limited resources and time, have a strong work ethic, and adhere to deadlines
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Experience with financial systems (SAP, Hyperion, NAV, Oracle)

Bonus:

  • Advanced skills with relational databases (e.g. Access, SQL)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, MicroStrategy)
