Our Opportunity:

Chewy is hiring a Sr. Vendor Performance Program Manager on the Merchandising Systems and Services team in Dania, Beach FL. We need a business savvy and adept problem solving leader, who can help us in growing our business and vendor base at scale. We create systems and process frameworks that improve Speed, Quality and CX for multi billion USD businesses. Our team’s mission is to be the backbone for Chewy’s Business/Category teams, helping win long-term customer trust, business growth and profitability. We are investing in a new team that manages revenue and vendors. They recruit, onboard and help our Vendor partners grow their business with Chewy- via scaleable P&L frameworks, Automation, Product and Program Management components. The Sr. Vendor Performance Program Manager will be a part of the team that manages Vendor Partners, scaling and automating the services that support our CX, business growth strategy and P&L delivery. This leader will always be focused on solving complex problems, starting up programs and tooling up for the future. The Sr. Vendor Performance Program Manager will be a results oriented business owner operating in fast-pace and heavily cross functional environment, so clear and effective leadership is critical.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across businesses to build and execute on the strategic business and category growth roadmap
  • Develop programs/tools that help in scaling the business to 5X current volume
  • Create and manage programs and services that help Merchandising deliver on all key P/L metrics such as Sales, Gross Margin, ASP, CPU, Rebates and more.
  • Build systems and processes to manage a complex and large network of Vendor partners
  • Synthesize large quantities of and complex data into usable/actionable information
  • End to End ownership of the program from Intake, setting & communicating strategy, prioritizing deliverables/milestones, building consensus, and coordinating communications.
  •  Regularly partner with the engineering teams to develop high CX bar systems.
  •  Lead team members through complex, cross-functional initiatives

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum of 5+ years in retail management or vendor management or supply chain management or ops/services management domains
  • Experience in a) Product/Program management, b) System Transformations and Process excellence and transformations or c) Automation
  • Solid Analytical tool kit- SQL, Python or R, Tableau etc and any other analytics tool are preferred
  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Position may require occasional travel
  • Track record of taking ownership and driving results in a data-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • MBA/MS (preferably in General Management/Finance/Tech Management) or BS/BA in Management/ Science/Economics/Finance or other engineering fields.
