Our Opportunity:

Chewy is seeking a highly motivated, goal-oriented, dedicated Demand Planner to join our exciting and fast-paced team in Dania Beach, FL. In this position, your responsibilities will include managing the sales forecasts for our catalog of over 60,000 SKUs. You'll have a chance to learn all aspects of Operations including Inventory Management, Fulfillment and Warehousing, Forecasting, Scheduling and Sourcing. What You'll Do:

• Utilize forecasting software and exception reporting to reduce forecast error and achieve category forecast accuracy targets
• Model business trends and communicate insights to the cross-functional team to optimize business processes and results
• Communicate significant business insights to the cross-functional team to optimize business processes and results
• Incorporate SKU level statistical models, business intelligence, and marketing strategies into long range demand plan to drive downstream business processes
• Contribute to the Integrated Business Planning process by providing key drivers and assumptions for demand inputs to drive a consensus forecast
• Determining causes of root error, and implementing processes to drive operational efficiency
• Collaborate with business partners to understand marketing activities, ensure optimal stock levels and plan lifecycle management of the product portfolio

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field
• 1-3 years of supply chain experience (preferably in forecasting and demand planning)
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Strong written, verbal, analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to effectively operate both independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Position may require travel

 Bonus:

• • E-commerce background is a plus
  • Modeling experience in R or Python
  • SQL experience is a plus
