Our Opportunity:

As a member of the Real Estate and Facilities Team, the Lease Administrator will be responsible for tasks relative to real estate lease administration, reconciliation, preliminary audit analysis and communications with landlords.

What You'll Do:

  • Review and interpret lease/property documents.
  • Prepare lease abstract and enter leases into the Real Estate Management software.
  • Maintain lease database and enter required modifications (amendments, renewals and lease escalations).
  • Run monthly rent roll and other reports as required.
  • Obtain and provide insurance certificates in accordance with leases.
  • Review and validation of CAM/RET Reconciliations in accordance with the lease.
  • Lease compliance analysis of landlord billings, real estate taxes and recurring charges.
  • Communicate/correspond with landlords regarding CAM/RET concerns and operational issues.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with landlords.
  • Provide support to onsite teams relating to occupancy cost concerns.
  • Interact with Accounting and Finance departments on lease related matters

What You'll Need:

  • 3+ years relevant experience in commercial real estate lease administration
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills with attention to detail and follow up.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Self- starter with ability to adapt and interact professionally with all levels of management.
  • Strong customer service and team building skills.
  • Must have ability to independently examine/interpret leases or other governing documents, analyze expense categories for reasonableness and accuracy, validate annual escalation statements, prepare variance reports and maintain audit work papers.
  • Experience with Nuvolo a plus.
  • Minimum of Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree, preferred
