The Overview:

Chewy is hiring a Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations that will bring big ideas, passion, and analytical expertise, to our recruiting team.  We are seeking a thought leader that is enthusiastic about finding the best talent for our organization, who will apply insights and analytics to influence business results and optimize our Talent Acquisition operations.

This leader will be responsible for analyzing current systems, processes, and technology to provide recommendations and manage process improvements.  This includes building and implementing transformational hiring programs to include, data visualization, funnel optimization, analyses in talent profiles, and market insights.  This leader will partner closely with business and talent leadership to understand business priorities, or urgent ad-hoc needs, and quickly provide deliverables to support them in overall operations excellence.

This position can be based in our Boston, MA or our Dania Beach, FL office.

 What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for implementing and leading projects that will impact hiring across all areas of the business
  • You will be a subject matter expert in recruiting, talent operations, people analytics, and vendor management
  • Elevate the team’s ability to deliver quality hires by piloting and implementing new technology
  • Dive into hiring trends to identify opportunities, success profiles, and buildout core insights and reporting capabilities
  • Build out Best Practices, standardize processes, and help develop long-term strategies
  • Build analytics and predictive modeling that will help talent acquisition leaders make data driven decisions
  • Partner with HR and Ops Leaders to identify trends in attrition, and build talent solutions
  • Gather analytical needs of teams and transform data into enterprise wide initiatives
  • Seek out potential risks and barriers for talent acquisition teams and develops programmatic solutions
  • Operationalize data with visualization to provide visibility of the team’s KPIs
  • You will partner closely with the entire Talent Acquisition team including Acquisition, Shared Services, and Talent Management, reporting to the Associate Director, Talent Acquisition.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Human Resources, Statistics, or a related area of study
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) highly preferred
  • 5-8 years of experience in Recruiting, HR, HR Operations, Talent Acquisitions Operations, or similar field
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels in the organization
  • Experience in leading teams, developing talent, and interfacing with VP and C-Suite leaders
  • Expert in using Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP’s, Pivot Tables, etc.) to solve complex problems
  • Able to create concise, and effective presentations (written, visual and verbal)
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, and a proven problem solver
  • Process oriented: able to create new processes, and optimize existing processes
  • High attention to detail with ability to identify and troubleshoot issues with data
  • Dedicated, with a high sense of urgency. Willing to do whatever it takes to get tasks done quickly
  • Able to work independently, and prioritize when receiving direction from multiple stakeholders
