Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a customer-centric Manager, Email Marketing who will oversee the email lifecycle marketing for Chewy’s most active and pet-obsessed customers to join our team based in Dania Beach, FL.  This role will be responsible for the approach, execution, and measurement of promotional email marketing campaigns that increase customer engagement and drive incremental sales.  This role sits on a team of email marketers and developers who are passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences.

What You'll Do:

  • Implement an email roadmap based on overall life-cycle marketing with a emphasis on email campaign to drive customer retention
  • Maintain and optimize a testing agenda for A/B and multivariate testing frameworks
  • Work with internal product marketing resources to ensure essential technical steps are taken for list selection, segmentation, and tracking
  • Leverage CRM data to drive a personalized and contextual experiences to increase customer retention
  • Drive continuous improvement across email KPIs including deliverability, open rates, click-to-open rates, conversion rates, opt-out rates, and revenue
  • Manage reporting requests and ongoing analyses for campaign performance, key insights, and strategic learnings
  • Drive a costumer first approach to all email experiences
  • Effectively partner across the organization: integrated marketing, engineering, product management, merchandising and supply chain 

What You'll Need:

  • A passion and track record for customer-centric marketing
  • 6+ years of email and/or direct marketing experience; ecommerce preferred
  • Bachelors degree, Masters a plus
  • Data-driven and analytical
  • Interpret and identify insights through data
  • Hands-on experience enabling trigger and automation campaigns through an enterprise ESP (Responsys or Sales Marketing Cloud preferred)
  • Deep understanding on how to enable behavioral, demographic and transactional to drive personalization
  • Experience with an enterprise level ESP and project management tools (JIRA) required
  • Strong communication skills with ability to clearly articulate information that influences data-driven business decisions
  • Operates independently and efficiently to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and successfully, without sacrificing attention to detail
  • Proven experience leading an email management function and outstanding attention to detail
  • Be knowledgeable on email best practices, technologies, and trends
  • Position may require travel
