Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Front-End Engineer to join our Storefront Team based in Boston, MA and focusing on our Cart & Checkout customer experience. The ideal candidate has experience with JavasScript frameworks/libraries, HTML, CSS and Java. The Cart & Checkout team is responsible for the customer journey from adding products to their cart through to the lifecycle of operations leading to a successful order being placed. The team’s goal is to create a frictionless customer experience as we build, learn and iterate on our core and new capabilities.

What You'll Do:

• Design and build new feature and capabilities on our customer facing Storefront across Cart & Checkout
• Participate in technical decisions and collaborate with talented peers Job
• Review code, implementations and give meaningful feedback that helps others build better solutions
• Establish strong working relationships at all organizational levels and across functional teams
• Refine our JavaScript frameworks and standards 

What You'll Need:

• 4+ years of experience in Software Development as a Front-End Engineer
• Fluency in JavaScript and customer facing technologies
• Experience with Javascript frameworks such as Vue.js and React as well as experience with Node.js
• Experience with Java 
• Position may require travel 

Bonus:

• Experience with Vue.js
• Experience with AWS
