Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Senior Functional Engineer (Oracle Service Cloud Specialist) to join our Software Engineering Team based in Dania (FL). Reporting to Director of Software Engineering, the Senior Functional Engineer (Oracle Service Cloud Specialist) will work with Customer Service team at Chewy to plan, design, develop and support information systems and solutions which support customer service organizational functions.  Responsibilities include work space/workflow, business rules, maintenance and documentation of existing customizations, day-to-day troubleshooting of system issues, testing, documenting and configuring systems. This individual will be required to be well versed with Agile processes, effectively communicate, think analytically and solve problems.

What You'll Do:

  • Review assigned service requests and work to provide timely functional and technical support to Oracle Service Cloud users
  • Act as an SME on functional and administrative components of OSvC
  • Create and Monitor alerts and/or reports to ensure systems are functioning properly
  • Create requirements for customizations needed to support functional implementations and work with team developers to implement.
  • Configure and maintain the Oracle Service Cloud application
  • Implement standard best practices offering repeatable and scalable business processes
  • Develop and provide solutions for customizations/integrations in Oracle Service Cloud
  • Assist in the planning, design, and development of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
  • Work independently or as a team and display the ability to juggle multiple tasks/assignments
  • Create and maintain documentation on interfaces, jobs, schemas, standard operating procedures and work instructions pertaining to data, data movement, systems and databases
  • Identify root cause analysis and provide solutions for production and development issues
  • Take ownership of and drive issues to resolution across the organization
  • Own and support the deployment process for new features, and feature synchronization between environments
  • Verify customizations meet business requirements and are maintainable and scalable
  • Implement and maintain a customization regression testing suite
  • Test new implementation features for functionality and effectiveness
  • Maintain regular environment upgrade cycles for both platform and BUI
  • Create documents to assist Customer Service Operations with training
  • Implement customer portal updates including minor javascript, html, and php modifications.
  • Work with Oracle Integration Cloud to support ongoing implementations
  • Stay current with current OSvC releases and related fields

What You'll Need:

  • 8+ years of IT Related Experience
  • 5+ years implementation and support experience with Oracle Service Cloud
  • A working knowledge of call center/contact center operations and processes including general knowledge of related applications, relational databases, and web technology
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in developing sophisticated Oracle Service Cloud configurations, workspaces and reports
  • Basic understanding of oracle business suite Order management, customer master, pricing etc..
  • Position may require travel (All levels)
