Our Opportunity:

Chewy is hiring an AD, CS People Analytics based out of our Hollywood, FL location. This newly created role will uncover data-driven insights to better attract, develop, motivate, and retain Chewy’s most important asset: our people. In this role, you will serve as an active partner between HR and business leaders to develop dashboards, perform research and analyses on a broad spectrum of people issues: including talent pipelines, culture, retention, and engagement.  A curious, collaborative approach to identifying Team Member, business, and HR opportunities is a must. You will manage multiple work-streams of large-scale projects with inputs from stakeholders across the enterprise. To be successful, you will leverage every facet of data, policy, process, and communication to drive excellence in the Team Member lifecycle not limited to any singular system to program.

What You'll Do:

  • Build a Customer Service, enterprise level HR analytics strategy to increase the use of people data and insights to inform workplace decisions, empower our leaders, and drive organizational performance
  • Oversee the development of compelling workforce stores and actionable insights through HR business intelligence and data visualization
  • Manage people metrics and creation of materials
  • Use analytics and predictive modeling to change how Chewy democratizes HR data
  • Drive the future state of HR analytics at Chewy including the execution of our multi-year roadmap
  • Develop data driven compelling business cases to support and prioritize initiatives
  • Enhance our capability to analyze and “make sense” of large data sets and translate into a visually appealing manner that tells a story and helps make better data driven decisions
  • Identify potential risks or barriers for or HR teams and develop programmatic solutions
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and career development to team members on your team and across the function
  • Engage directly with executive level stakeholders as the subject matter expert around recruiting processes and measurement
  • Engage and collaborate with cross-functional experts across all business units
  • Collaborate with HR leaders and Centers of Excellence (CoE’s) to draw conclusion from data analysis which can inform strategies, actions, and decision-making
  • Collaborate with members of HR to identify, standardize, and implement data & analytics solutions, including enhanced tools and process improvements

 What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Masters preferred in math, statistics, business, or similar field of study
  • 7+ years of working experience
  • Demonstrated ability to use data, analytics, and business knowledge to solve complex business problems
  • Experienced working in a continuous improvement framework
  • Experience creating long term roadmaps, but developing a compelling, practical approach to how we get there starting tomorrow
  • Ability to effectively engage and influence wide range of leaders in the development of solutions for Chewy’s most critical business initiatives
  • Experience regularly interfacing and communicating executive leaders up to the C-suite
  • Expert Excel skill, Tableau experience required and hands on experience with one or more BI platforms / visualization tools desired
  • SQL experience a plus
  • Position may require travel

Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
