Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Sr. Brand Marketing Manager to join our Private Label Marketing Team based in Dania Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong marketing background that leverages data and consumer insights to drive strategy, communication and creative approach across all marketing channels. Leading campaigns that support our private label brands are some of the fun things the position will encompass.  Collaborating closely with our brand team, creative teams, channel leads, merchandising partners, product development teams and operations partners, you will be responsible for assessing opportunities, planning programs, defining timelines and priorities, creating marketing strategies and building go-to-market plans that drive results. The candidate will also be responsible for tracking and measuring results of Private Label brand initiatives and campaigns to identify opportunities for growth, ensure strategies are working, measure for success, and adjust plans to deliver against growth agenda

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and lead integrated campaigns to support specific private label brands and programs and align strategies across channels.
  • Liaison with the marketing channels to lead and conduct performance analysis of brand initiatives, which includes ongoing tracking of email, digital paid and CTV campaigns, etc., monitoring key performance indicators and providing recommendations on optimization across channels.
  • Organize, brief and plan marketing strategies that support new customer acquisition, growth marketing, customer engagement, and advocacy
  • Write strategic marketing plans and work with creative teams to develop compelling assets that drive customers to act and maintain affinity for specific private label brands and programs
  • Work with cross functional product marketing, brand marketing, channel marketing leads and business teams
  • Develop packaging/kickoff briefs for the products expected to launch for the respective brand(s)
  • Create close collaborative relationships with marketing channel specialists (email, social, digital paid and organic, digital video, TV, OOH, events, sponsorship's, partnerships, PR etc.)
  • Partner with merchandising to develop strategies that support their goals and deliver against key objectives & drivers for the organization
  • Engage with consumer research team to derive qualitative and quantitative insights around motivations, behavior, attitudes, latent needs, and apply them to campaigns
  • Engage with data scientists and analytics teams to determine market opportunities, define customer audience segments, and determine business drivers for acquisition, repeat purchase, and customer retention
  • Leverage consumer insights, customer & pet profiles, real-time data, historical data and third-party data to guide strategy, targeting and distribution
  • Leveraging market insights, competitive intelligence and business data, the ideal candidate will write comprehensive brand strategy briefs, optimize campaigns, inform future campaigns and develop corporate roadmaps consumer awareness, purchase and loyalty.
  • Report and present performance results to leadership/partners summarizing findings, outlining key contributors, providing direction, and delivering overall recommendations for ongoing programs
  • Partner with finance, supply chain, and customer service to ensure successful campaign execution and an optimized customer experience
  • Partner with Private Label QA/Regulatory to identify mitigation strategies for increased return rates & customer complaints
  • Ability to multi-task and work well within a dynamic, fast-paced organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, people-oriented attitude
  • Lead post-launch analyses for campaigns and brand initiatives with support from brand teams and cross-functional partners 
  • Partner with Marketing and Commercial leaders to optimize for market and in-market

What You’ll Need

  • BA with strong academic record (preference for quantitative, scientific, or technical backgrounds)
  • Experience working across all aspects of the marketing mix
  • Consumer brand-building experience is a plus and preferred
  • 4+ years’ experience building and creating compelling integrated marketing campaigns
  • 4+ years’ experience working in mass media/OOH/radio, search, social, paid media, programmatic and display
  • 4+ years’ experience in direct marketing channels (direct mail, email, text, etc.) to derive customer touch points for conversation and activation of customers
  • 4+ years’ experience managing projects in a deadline driven environment
  • 4+ years’ experience in working with cross-functional teams
  • 3+ years’ experience in developing briefs and reporting on campaigns and program performance
  • 3+ years’ experience working with data and consumer insights to drive strategic direction, analyze campaigns and develop effective marketing plans
  • 3+ years’ experience in presenting strategies, performance results and key findings
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, people-oriented attitude is required
  • Ability to guide creative direction through clear, effective communication is required
  • Ability to think and perform both tactically and strategically is required
  • Ability to analyze and report on results, findings and adjust as necessary to maximize KPIs
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, self-starter environment
  • Passion for innovation, ever-changing digital landscape and life-long learning
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics or other web analytics tools a plus
  • Travel may be required
