What You'll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years transportation industry experience, logistics experience preferred
• Experience in analyzing truckload, intermodal, Less-than-Truckload, Parcel and Ocean freight pricing
• Experience identifying trends, tracking KPI’s and reporting on freight metrics while making recommendations
• Detail oriented and possesses superior organizational, self-motivation and problem-solving skills
• Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s, Macros, Forecasting, Data Manipulation, Formulas etc.)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, SQL, Tableau
• Experience programing in SQL and developing Tableau Dashboards. Proficient in Microsoft office suite
• Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and lead in an extremely fast-paced environment. Data driven!
• Experience working with OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) or other TMS
• Self-motivated, high energy and proactive. Need to feel comfortable playing with big data
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills  

What You'll Do:

• Provide all levels of the company with updates on Transportation metrics, including ongoing analysis and interpretation of data. Present information verbally, as well as in written reports and email.
• Evaluate and maintain KPI’s for Inbound freight program
• Perform freight conversion analysis to move vendors from Prepaid to Collect freight terms
• Manage projects with tight deadlines and develop supply chain capabilities to measure network performance
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies throughout the transportation network
• Analyze leakage elements within inbound freight (use of spot market, increasing rates, damages)
• Able to develop tools, dashboards, metrics and reports to create network visibility on cost & service
• Audit Freight savings to ensure accurate freight costs for booked freight and freight allowances
• Update and maintain freight related reports, dashboards and SQL queries for transportation data
• Work cross functionally with Merchandising & Supply Planning to setup new vendors on Chewy’s freight network
• Travel may be required

 Bonus:

• Strong leadership skills & outgoing. Self-starter that feels comfortable hosting meetings cross functionally
• Experience working with freight carriers, vendors and 3PL’s
• Ability to effectively operate both independently and as part of a team
• Familiar with LTL CzarLite pricing
• Supply Chain, Logistics, Computer Science, Business or Advanced degree
• E-commerce, retail, manufacturing or startup experience is a plus
