You will report to the Supervisor of Assembly in Monroe, CT.

A Look Inside the Job:

  • The Computer Hardware Technician is responsible for the assembly of all Datto computer devices and servers, in an efficient manner, out of our Supply Chain Operations facility located in Monroe, CT
  • After successful training, the Computer Hardware tech will be required to hit a daily quota in the allotted time, while producing devices held to a high level of quality standards
  • They must also maintain a safe and clean workspace while working quickly and under pressure
  • Ability to utilize hand-held tools, such as a screwdriver, pliers, dykes, and a drill gun is required
  • The computer hardware tech must comply with all procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Read, interpret, and follow basic specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions to accurately assemble devices
  • Occasionally, they may be asked to work overtime or assist in other departments within the facility

About You:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Familiarity with computer hardware
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Basic reading skills
  • Must be able to follow directions
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs
