Our Richmond office is looking for an experiences Sales Manager to lead our driven and energetic Sales Development Representatives. You'll be responsible for developing and coaching each of them as an individual by building trust and credibility, in order to help drive the vision of the business, as well as help them work towards their personal goals. Datto is big on culture, which you can hopefully see by doing your background research on us...so it's important that you're focused on motivating and leading by example in your management style. We're looking for this person to drive success by brining innovative ideas to the table, as well as having the ability to stick to basics when necessary.

This role requires you to be on-site, in Richmond five days a week. We cannot offer any remote working for this position.

A Look Inside the Job:

  • Manage a team of 12 Sales Development Representatives to meet/exceed monthly goals: daily calls, opportunities generated for the sales team and number of new buying partners acquired
  • Coach and develop SDR's in order for them to reach their promotional targets, as well as manage their overall performance as a team on a daily basis
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership to optimise work flow for attacking outbound and inbound lead generation
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to discuss best practices, business and market trends to review qualification approach and maximise opportunities
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of Datto products and how they support our customer's needs, including features, advantages, and important examples of usage

About You:

  • 3+ years experience in outbound sales or business development with demonstrable track record of exceeding goals
  • 3+ years experience in sales management or team lead roles with demonstrable track record of exceeding goals
  • Solution sales experience
  • You have successfully coached and mentored junior sales staff with successful outcomes
  • You are data-driven and target driven
  • You communicate simply and effectively

Bonus Points:

  • Knowledge of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) market
  • Experience of managing a Lead Generation team
