A Look Inside the Job:

Datto is seeking a product leader and strategist to join our PSA Product team. As Senior Product Manager, you will drive the strategy and execution for the PSA Product line and ensure that our partners across the world will have a product experience that is delightful and consistent. In addition,

  • Apply product management expertise and use critical thinking, data-backed analysis, and partner insight to help drive the success of the PSA Product
  • Own and drive the roadmap for PSA
  • You will take a special role on the PSA team to drive new revenue streams and lead new product modules
  • Ensure that the roadmap aligns with the overall product and company vision and champion the focus on improving partner experience among key stakeholders
  • Set the priorities and drive high quality & high-velocity releases to make a measurable difference in partner experience
  • Define ecosystem strategy including technical integrations to enable MSPs and to differentiate the product offering
  • Enable the Go-to-Market organization to ensure successful launch and adoption of the PSA product 
  • Lead financial planning & analysis on activities such as investment cases, bookings targets, margin analysis, and monitoring the health of the product line
  • Work with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization to help drive market success for the product and solution

Responsibilities:

  • This job entails owning the overall vision and roadmap for the PSA product offering
  • You will evangelize the product vision to customers, partners, employees, and investors
  • Represent the customer. Be the champion and voice of customers. Build impactful, personal customer relationships. Bring the customer's voice into the creation process
  • Work with PSA Product Managers, own requirements, specifications, and release plans
  • Demonstrate a customer-driven mindset by participating frequently in customer conversations and ensuring ongoing customer feedback and validation
  • Be an expert on the domain, the market, and the trends
  • Be the voice of your product. Inspire the Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services teams with your vision, market knowledge, and executional abilities. Act as a domain and product expert at customer interactions, both face to face and online
  • Develop KPIs including north star metric, usage and growth metrics, and quality benchmarks to measure and track product performance and success
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and user experience teams to define and develop best-in-class product experiences
  • Collaborate with product marketing and sales on go-to-market strategy and execution

About You:

  • Expertise: Equivalent of 8+ years in PSA, product management, or similar SaaS product experience
  • Leadership: proven ability to set a vision, excite and lead cross-functional technology teams and broader stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies 
  • Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Strong technical skills and business acumen - proven ability to execute on the spectrum of technical challenges through to go-to-market and business strategies
  • Skilled in critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Expertise in leveraging data to develop actionable insights, and to inform strategic decisions and product roadmaps
  • Experience in conducting customer interviews, and other forms of gathering customer insights
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; strong intellectual curiosity; bias for action.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint / G-Suite equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
