As an Associate Brand Manager you’ll be instrumental in growing our vibrant online communities in our award winning, world renowned, online games! 

Your Contribution  

  • Facilitate visual asset creation, logo, and copy treatment requests to promote regularly occurring sales events and game content releases. This includes communication with internal and external teams to execute. 
  • Work with Brand Manager to draft product copy and creative briefs by ensuring that visual and written communications align with Brand identity and planned strategy.  
  • Organize and maintain Visual Asset directories and style guides for the Brands to ensure expedition of deployment of advertising assets for all scheduled sales and promotion campaigns. This will include using a blend of propriety and commercially available tools. 
  • Collaborate with Brand Manager to develop integrated marketing plans through all phases of product development.  
  • Under guidance of Brand Manager, usher deliverables through all phases of product marketing including, but not limited to all planning & project timelines related to creative development, advertising, special events, and trade and consumer promotions. 
  • Assess and troubleshoot issues identified in the live production environments related to sales discounts, promotion availability, or advertising copy as needed.   
  • Work effectively with internal cross-functional teams including Community, Marketing, Operations, and Web to insure seamless integration and execution of our marketing campaigns. 
  • Provide guidance and recommendations for remote support team on what excites and delights our customers to optimize copy and/or assets in email, ad placement, & SEO campaigns.  

 

Skills & Requirements  

  • Understanding of video game publishing and marketing content pipeline from concept to shipping - particularly those that offer microtransactions / in-game purchases. 
  • Two+ years of experience in brand marketing, product management, project management, visual merchandizing, or digital storefronts in an applicable industry (gaming, entertainment, consumer goods, etc.). 
  • Intermediate experience designing promotion strategies and schedules.  
  • Strong organization, time management and scheduling skills. 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.  
  • Experience with digital marketing across web, console, and social including working with online/digital marketplaces, supporting digital content strategies, supporting launches of supportive and standalone digital releases. 
  • Knowledge of current trends in the gaming industry and related marketing trends. 
  • Experience working with online content management systems, or other browser-based merchant catalog tools.  
  • Advanced proficiency with English required. Elementary proficiency with Parisian French and Standard German – or product localization experience – a plus!  
  • Experience with MMORPGs and familiarity with fantasy books (e.g. Dungeons & Dragons, Lord of the Rings) a plus, whether for work or as a consumer who loves them! 
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a strong plus. 
  • BA in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications a plus but not required.
