We want an intern who is passionate about building an online community for millions of developers.

The Web Platforms team supports our community and marketing efforts by building and iterating on all public facing sites and applications (ie DigitalOcean Community, Hacktoberfest, Marketing site). This development role will be primarily responsible for developing new features, functionality and tests across the DigitalOcean Community app.  

DigitalOcean’s Community is focused on helping developers learn and share knowledge. It's comprised of Technical Tutorials, Q&A, and Developer Tools that help millions of developers every month solve challenging technical problems and learn new things.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Working with Community Designers, Developers and Writers to implement features and improvements that help developers learn new things.
• Contributing front-end and server-side updates to the Community Rails App that serves millions of developers every month
• Collaborating with other developers via GitHub workflows to build, test, review and ship code.
