About the role

As an Experience Manager, you will be supporting our guests in a variety of ways - we’re constantly thinking of new ways that we can level up the experience they have in our office. You will work closely with our Chief People Officer and our Head of People Operations to make sure all of our offices (and virtual offices) are operating like a 5 star hotel.

What you’ll be doing on the Experience team at Drift:

Design Conversational Spaces in collaboration with our IT team and outside designers.  

  • Coordinate repairs within physical office space if needed with our Office Managers
  • Work with office manager to arrange all new employee setups
  • Manage the inventory of general office supplies
  • Responsible for overall office organization
  • Manage all inventory, operations, and cleanliness of the employee kitchen
  • Manage relationships with vendors including contract and record maintenance
  • Work in conjunction with office manager to act as a “runner” to ensure the front desk is always covered
  • Assist with any physical needs around special events
  • Act as a liaison between Drift and the building property manager
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing of packages
  • Create and manage a help desk ticket processing system; respond accordingly to any/all requests coming in through system

By month 3 you'll 

  • Understand the requirements to move our current global offices to Conversation spaces 
  • Embrace and foster our Digital First Drift employee experience 
  •  Have furniture orders and office layout set for our Conversations spaces 

By month 6 you'll 

  • In partnership with our Chief of Staff, establish the cadence of Semi-Annual Kick Office gatherings 
  •  Set up COVID protocol when we bring the Drift team back “together” 
  • Have a global look and feel to our Drift Conversational spaces 

By 1 year you’ll 

  • Manage all of our global offices as well as lead a structure for remote “connections”  
  • Contribute to an engaged global Drift employee base 
  • Proactively managing the general office and future real estate needs 

About you and what type of skills you’ll need: 

  • Positive, self-motivated team player, with good attention to detail
  • Previous experience maintaining building facilities
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to think creatively and stay within budget
  • Willingness to engage in manual labor
  • Calm under pressure and deliver results quickly
