Crunchyroll COVID-19 Hiring Status

Our Dallas office, home to production facilities and more, is located in the newly constructed Cypress Waters campus in the center of the Dallas Fort Worth area.

About The Team

Crunchyroll is looking for a Brand Management Coordinator to join our team! The Brand Management Coordinator in the Brand Management & Title Marketing team will focus on performing tasks that support the general team. Tasks include coordinating announcements with various marketing teams, corresponding with licensors, reviewing internal marketing approvals, writing marketing performance reports, taking meeting notes, becoming more knowledgeable about anime, and coordinating internal process changes.

We expect our streaming and other omni-channels to enjoy growth to scale and engage, are attractive to licensors and their representatives, are credible with audiences, and set the pace for the rest of the industry. The position requires flexibility and willingness to support all kinds of marketing initiatives across the team.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about anime content and fandom.
  • Conducts business-essential tasks such as forms, processing purchase orders and invoices, shipping, and internal requests.
  • Facilitates and amplifies communication across departments through a range of media.
  • Initiates and leads promotional requests for digital and physical assets to support seasonal marketing campaigns.
  • Supports the team in coordinating internal consistency on branding and messaging for multi-brand projects to ensure compliance with licensor requirements.
  • Writes marketing reports to share fan sentiment and key learnings with licensors.
  • Leads simulcast season launches with various departments and teams.
  • Identifies issues in current processes and areas that require improvement.
  • Is willing to adapt and care deeply about cultural nuances that come with working with global partners (external and internal).
  • Is organized to stay on top of multiple ongoing and overlapping projects, and high attention to due dates, requirements and deliverables.
  • Has sharp attention to details when reviewing assets.
  • Is a strong communicator with clear, professional written and verbal communication with team members.
  • Has quantitative skills in interpreting, organization, and communicating internal or external research data.
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; captures and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations.
  • Initiates consistently with strive to identify and offer solutions to problems without prompting.

What we need from you:

  • Have a deep love for anime content
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Microsoft Office and Google Suite skills – spreadsheet and word processor fluency, including advanced formatting and formula skills
  • A sharp eye to details and enjoy being organized
  • Strong communication, presentation skills and positive team collaboration are required
  • Global mind-set: thinking and supporting both local and global needs
  • Written and verbal proficiency in English (Japanese language expertise is a bonus)
  • Ability to work efficiently as a phenomenal teammate as well as individually with minimal direction
  • A desire to thrive in our unique and energetic culture
  • Have a positive demeanor and be solution oriented
