This office houses many of our corporate functions and cross-functional teams tasked with creating exceptional experiences for our passionate communities.

We are looking for an experienced digital marketing professional with extensive knowledge of search engine and conversion rate optimization to lead SEO and CRO for Crunchyroll. Charged with enhancing visits and revenue through the organic search channels, the Sr. Manager, Growth Marketing (SEO/CRO) will lead strategy and execution to optimize website architecture, content, and online promotional outreach. Experience working in driven search verticals across a global portfolio of websites is a requirement. You will directly lead a small team with a variety of backgrounds and site marketing experience, as well as work with cross-functional team members in a number of other departments, including Product, Engineering, and Audience Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Site Marketing function to drive natural search visits and conversion optimization
  • Lead cross team strategies to build and defend SEO traffic and revenue
  • Guide implementation of SEO standard methodologies in new product and engineering initiatives and work with product team to optimize and increase onsite landing page and conversion funnel performance
  • Research and resolve HTML code and content, link architecture and navigation issues
  • Partner in the creation of on-page SEO content, and conduct site audits and SEO QA of releases
  • Report on organic search and landing page performance to senior management
  • Provide technical SEO consultation and education to various internal collaborators
  • Collaborate with Paid Media team to ensure integration and alignment across the breadth of customer acquisition channels
  • Assist in the identification, testing and launching of new digital marketing landing pages for the business

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of enterprise SEO experience for medium to large websites
  • Proven experience leading successful teams to deliver rapid organic traffic growth for world-class web properties
  • Experience in digital marketing channels beyond SEO, with PPC or performance display preferred
  • Confirmed understanding of and experience with agile web development process and technologies
  • Experience with common site analytics and CMS tools including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Similarweb, SEMRush, and WordPress
  • Experience crafting SEO-focused product requirement documents
  • Very strong writing skills and user-centric design sensibility
  • Experience in Subscription Video On-Demand or E-Commerce verticals
