Crunchyroll COVID-19 Hiring Status

Mobile Games Product Manager

In this role you will support the Director of Production Management in the development, production, launch, and live operations of F2P mobile titles based on some of the top Anime brands in the world! You will carry out the live ops features and roadmaps, coordinating with U.S. and Asian developers, and supervising game metrics. The Product Manager will apply quantitative and qualitative data in order to optimize the daily live operations plans, including adapting Asian titles to ex-Asia as [email protected]

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and handle production and live ops roadmap with internal and external teams.
  • Lead the monetization and engagement strategy for multiple live games.
  • Optimize event and sales plans to increase monetization and retention while analyzing metrics to derive practical insights on user trends and behavior.
  • Measure the success of product features after release and optimize their performance through rapid, data driven iteration.
  • Handles a roadmap schedule of all Anime game releases and updates as well as working with Marketing, UA, and social teams to promote games across multiple promotional channels.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in product management, system design, live operations, or analytics on F2P mobile games.
  • Familiarity with behavioral economic concepts, data analysis, UX/UI, game systems design, and A/B testing.
  • Consistent track record of developing or improving features for a live, free-to-play mobile game while having a deep understanding of free-to-play game systems, economies, currencies, and balance.
  • Ability to build wire-frames, product specifications, and white papers.
  • Ability to work across a portfolio of products, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly detailed oriented and ability to coordinate information clearly and succinctly with strong analytical capabilities added with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus:

  • Familiarity with and passion for Anime properties a plus!
  • Experience in adapting and operating Eastern F2P games for Western markets and working with developers in Asia a plus.
  • Experience working with entertainment brands and IP holders a plus.
  • Asian Language skills a plus.
  • Passionate about mobile F2P games.
