Crunchyroll COVID-19 Hiring Status

Crunchyroll employees are currently working from home, and we are still conducting remote interviews and hiring during this time. This role is expected to start remotely, and we’ll work closely with you as we understand every person has unique circumstances.

About The Team:

Web Team is the place to be if you're curious, versatile and on track with all the changes around. Our focus is providing the best experience on the web version of Crunchyroll product. We build reusable components that can be shared among other teams. If you are interested in React, have a passion for the latest technologies in the frontend world, and care about the quality of code then we would welcome you to our team.

About You:

• 3+ years experience in JavaScript and/or Node.js
• 2+ years experience in React
• Experience with REST APIs
• Experience with defining and delivering scalable Front-End architectures
• Experience operating within GIT, NPM, Webpack, Babel, Mocha, Chai, Jest, ExpressJS
• Understanding of concepts like CI/CD, Clean Code, and Pair Programming
• Strong core understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• English proficiency 
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science
• Experience with AWS is a Plus
• Experience with NRQL is a Plus

A day in the life of our Front-End Engineer:

• Communicate with microservices
• Create UI/React Components
• Support and improve internal engineering processes
• Collaborate with other teams within the company
• Work on large scale project using cutting edge technologies and architectures
