Crunchyroll COVID-19 Hiring Status

The Role

Reporting to the Director, Theatrical Marketing, this role is responsible for leading theatrical marketing campaigns from conceptualization to execution for marketing strategies that drive awareness and ticketing revenue. This position is responsible for handling and tracking theatrical campaigns across traditional, digital, and emerging platforms.

Responsibilities

Develop the overarching release strategy and ensure tactics ladder up to a successful theatrical campaign

  • Lead and coordinate campaigns throughout theatrical release window, including:
  • Preparation, development and delivery of campaigns, including requesting creative assets, project management, and work to optimize media for reach and conversion
  • Handle budgets and timelines, ensuring relevant collaborators stay informed about any changes and task are met
  • Partner with teams to plan campaigns and lead all aspects of execution across channels, TV, OOH, and paid media
  • Collaborate with multiple territories on campaign components and marketing plans, ensuring alignment with overarching theatrical campaign strategy, from in-production content, trailer launch, campaign strategy share-outs, and main campaign asset sharing
  • Prepare and update theatrical recaps and ongoing campaign reporting
  • Partner with other areas within the marketing department (brand, publicity, research, data, research, partnerships) to gain input on strategic direction and advise planning and strategy
  • Monitor and communicate entertainment and market trends to adjust plans as needed

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelors degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience in a Marketing, with minimum of 3 years’ experience in entertainment; preferably Theatrical
  • Self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment
  • Experience managing marketing plans, timelines and budgets
  • Creative approach with the ability to leverage data to develop strategy/decisions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
