Business Intelligence Analyst

This is an opportunity to join the Business Intelligence (BI) team at a critical inflection point and shape how we do business into the future. As a key member of the team, the BI Analyst will provide analytics, reporting, and insights tackling multiple aspects of our business.

At the core of this role is the ability to generate business-level analysis and then turn it into high-impact, actionable insights. In order to be successful, you will need to be extremely collaborative across the Eyecare Partners organization, an effective communicator and presenter, be able to simplify and communicate complex topics/ideas. The ideal candidate will be naturally curious and will enjoy solving puzzles and understanding the reason the puzzle exists in the first place, and most of all, will want to personally make a big impact on a growing business.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop deep knowledge of business, customer and competitive landscape and translate business questions into insight plans that includes mixed method research programs and actionable recommendations
  • Develop financial models, diagnostic tools, and new analytical methods to identify trends, interpret results, and optimize profit both at the field and corporate level
  • Execute analytics projects to gather, manage, and analyze data from multiple applications, ensuring that deadlines are met
  • Generate reports of findings and present these to senior management
  • Work on ad hoc analyses with other departments/business partners. Participates in special projects as assigned by the CEO, President and CFO

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or related field. MBA desired.
  • 5+ years professional experience working in finance, customer/operations insights/analytics or strategy; healthcare experience preferred
  • High proficiency in MS Excel
  • Familiarity in building reports, dashboards, and scorecards in MS Excel or Power BI
  • Database and query skills
  • Ability to work independently with little oversight
  • Problem-solving, critical thinking, visualization and storytelling skills
  • Results-driven and able to handle multiple projects
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Superior communication and presentation skills
  • Strong teamwork abilities
