THE POSITION

The Senior Analyst will assist the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team to prepare and deliver monthly reporting packages, dashboards and critical operational and financial analysis.  The position will interact with stakeholders ranging from district managers to our executive leadership team and senior lenders. The ideal candidate will be a finance professional that’s motivated to improve the financial performance metrics of ECP
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Become an integral member of the FP&A Team.
  • Assist in the financial reporting and budgeting process including overall analytical analysis and reviews.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of pro-forma financial information to ECP’s Senior Lender and Major Equity Holders.
  • Gather, consolidate, summarize and analyze financial information provided by accounting, regional business units and shared service functions.
  • Assist in the preparation of both weekly/monthly operational dashboards that report shared service analytics, key performance indicators and financial information.
  • Ad-hoc analysis to support reporting and key business ideas/decisions as requested by senior management, senior lenders, or others within the organization.
  • Role will interface with Operational, Target Acquisition, M&A and Shared Service Groups to analyze and prepare information for Senior Executives, Private Equity Stakeholders and other key business decision makers plus field and respond to questions regarding performance results and new business ideas.
 
THE CANDIDATE
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-5+ years financial/accounting experience
  • Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial information
  • Ability to operate independently and professionally
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Desire to work in fast paced, high performance team environment (private equity owned portfolio company)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required
  • Financially-driven and entrepreneurial; focused on what’s best for the business and investors. Able to appreciate and foster in a culture with a philosophy of “out-friendly the ”
  • High energy; a strong work ethic and a no-quit/“get stuff done” attitude; able to solve problems by getting into the details while staying focused on the big
  • Hands-on and tenacious; able to operate in a lean, cost-conscious
  • Flexible and open to Comfortable in a dynamic environment where decisions are made quickly.
  • Naturally analytical and intellectually curious; likes to know why and how things are done. Cannot be fixed to conventional retail theories, metrics and practices.
